Dale is a highly versatile singer and seasoned musician adept at taking the most popular "standards," and turning them into dynamic crowd pleasers. He is an entertainer who knows how to have fun and, more importantly, how to rev up and engage an audience. Dale wins the crowd over. Take one of his audience participation numbers "Low Rider," where members of the audience "with rhythm" are asked to join in on an assortment or percussion instruments, and it turns into a musical "Simon Sez" with Dale singing "Low Ri-Der says COWBELL SOLO!!" Or his version of "Yesterday," which starts out as you'd expect, but halfway through, he pauses to recount the mythical story that while writing the song, Paul McCartney had not yet come up with any lyrics, so was singing "ham and eggs" in the meantime... well GUESS WHAT? We found those lyrics and I'm gonna' sing 'em for you! Dale entertains the audience with his wit and charm, dazzles them with his playing, and captivates them with his vocals and personality. Comfortable with all types of audiences of all ages, Dale is guaranteed to have people clamoring for an encore.

Dale grew up in Connecticut and began taking guitar lessons at 8 years old, following quickly with piano lessons. He played his first gig at age 11, singing hits of the day such as "Born To Be Wild" (which he still does to this day!) and "Bad Moon Risin.'" By age 15 he was giving guitar lessons and playing gigs in local venues in the NYC tri-state area. He attended Berklee College of Music, and followed that with private lessons with legendary guitar master of Westport CT., Linc Chaimberlin. He soon made his way to L.A. where he played/sang in a variety of bands. Always anxious to improve his craft, he continued his music study with L.A. session pro Eddie Arkin. He then put together and fronted a band called Hoopla, which played the L.A. showcase club circuit (i.e., Troubadour, The Whiskey, Starwood and others). At heart, Dale is a musician and entertainer whose performances have delighted audiences ranging from beach stages to weddings, from corporate events to nightclubs. He is as at home playing songs from the 50's/60's to an older audience as he is playing the latest hits to younger crowds. Over the past 30 years, Dale has performed on and produced countless CD's, in addition to writing and recording hundreds of original songs. On just one of projects, "The Woz," released 1984, he sang all vocals, composed all of the material, and played every instrument including guitar, bass, drums, pedal steel guitar, piano, flute, alto sax, cello, synthesizers and more. In 1994 he put together an originals rock trio called "World Of Hurt" and played locally and also recorded a CD. Dales vocal styling has been described as "cool young sexy L.A. surfer dude type of voice". Upcoming projects include collaborating with Miles Davis alumnus George Pavlis on his upcoming CD in the capacity of songwriting and vocals.
